DIAGNOSING AND TREATING

Diagnosis and treatment planning

  • We do accurate diagnosis of the patient's condition as it is essential before an appropriate treatment plan can be formulated for that individual.
  • We adopted a logical approach to clinical examination.
  • As we know a high quality long-cone parallel radiograph is mandatory before commencing root canal treatment, and we carefully examined to obtain all possible information.

The importance of correct diagnosis and treatment planning must not be underestimated. There are many causes of facial pain and the differential diagnosis can be both difficult and demanding. All the relevant information must be collected; this includes a case history and the results of both a clinical examination and diagnostic tests.
